THE DEFENCE FORCES         DISROBED AND DEGLAMORISED

BY THE 7th CPC

Apart from the degradation of the Armed forces in terms status, grades and pay scales, the 7th CPC has ruthlessly stripped the Forces of a large number of allowances :

1.   No Ration Allowance.  Disproving Napolean
      Bonaparte's dictum : 'an Army marches on its belly.
2.   No Condiment Allowance.  Eat Continental food. 
3.   No Free Ration. Tamil saying: Sappad ille, kaam ille.
4.   No Rent free accommodation. Live in the nearest the
       nearest jungle.

5.   No Free electricity. Use moon light
6.   No Risk Allowance. Risk your life at your risk.
7.   No Tier-ii Allowance. Do not study more ..no reward.
8.   No Kit maintenance Allowance. Make use of natural        resources.
9.   No Pension : live with NPS and contributary pension.
10. No AGIF. Look after your dependents from Heaven     
       after an enemy bullet fells you.
11. No Furlough : No half pay leave
12. No Disability Pension.  Only fixed slab.
13. Low Military Service Pay : approx 9% against 15% 
      paid by other democratic nations.
14. Siachen allowance 31500 where as Babu in Guhawati 
      70000
15. Fauji just 4 promotions as against 6 for  IAS/Cops, 16. No Funeral Allowance, Buy your coffin. Soldiers to        carry their own coffins along with them while going to 
       fight the enemy.
17.  No PMR. Indian Armed Forces will be manned by super 
       young personnel to fight with the young Paki/ Chinese 
       Armies, our traditional enemies. 18. Military Service Redefined : High risk & low pay 
       service.
19.  No money : Military pay & pension at rock bottom 
       now resulting in Poor  Quality. Pay monkey nuts & 
       get monkies. 

20. India's standing Armed Forces, highly motivated 
       indeed due shabby treatment in pay & pension. 
21. Now cops & BSF should guard borders as they are 
       PSID higher & serve for longer period.
