Part 1. The pay and perks for a soldier should ensure that he is able to look after his family ,moreso once he retires in late thirties for PBOR and Officers in mid fifties.Thereafter ensure a good / decent life.
ReplyDeletePart 2. It is comparison with other similarly placed rank and file in civil services ,private industry and also when one compare world defence forces which leads one to think that you u are a second rate citizen in own country.
Part 3. The comparison means IZZAT loot gai. You feel your own Govt has slighted you .
Part 4. Poll promises reneged by PM and the party which has acquired absolute majority with whole hearted support from veterans.Trust of soldier broken, means broken heart.
Part 5. What can be done and who can do it. There is no point veterans languishing at JM Delhi. Serving Generals,Air Marshals,Admirals can do it provided they have ......?
