ARMY DAY - A MESSAGE TO THE NATION

On this day, let us rededicate ourselves to-

•     remain the iternal sentinels as                  rakshaks of the Nation's safety &              security and not become its                          bhakshaks;
•     ensuring that our sisters and                      brothers in the Country can have               sound sleep every night, secure in            their belief that our vigil is eternal;
•     our gratitude to the Nation for giving     us an opportunity to serve it as its            proud protectors;
•     our comrades in arms that we                    remain so till our last breath, in or           out of uniform;
•     all our sisters and brothers of Bharat,     that we will be there by their side,            every time they need us.

And all that we ask for in return is -

"Resrtoration of our honour and dignity, 

  so systematically and deliberately sniped 

  away from us over the last seven 

  decades, but never more than the last 

  seven months, when we have been left to 

  rot on  the streets by a self serving Govt 

  and an uncaring Nation".
