THE BOTCH-UP AT PATHANKOT : WHOSE RESPONSIBILITY

Heard the Rahul Kanwal's 'Round Table Discussions' with eminent experts and diplomats on the Pathankot operations. Each one of them, except the lone BJP representative, questioned the Govt's claim that the operation was a success. It also questioned an advisor, (NSA), directing the whole show, flying-in the just 100 NSG (SAG) commandos, not meant for such an operation, (As amply brought out by Lt Gen Shankar Prassad, ex inspector general Infantry, who served in NSG for three years), with two divisions and SFF, well trained and experienced in Anti-terror operations, sitting on their haunches right there, losing seven brave hearts and then gloating over not allowing the terrorists to destroy the vital assets of the Base.
