I fully concur with Raksha Mantri (RM).
It is indeed our bad luck that -
- lives of so many bravehearts were avoidably lost at the Pathankot airbase;
- we have a NSA, who thinks, we could win the battle sitting at Delhi, using forces trained for urban intervention but deployed against highly trained fidaeen commandos, in rural settings;
- we have thoroughly incompetent Punjab (A border state), Police Force, which had a 24 hour head start but instead of chasing the terrorists, were busy torturing the informants, (probably in the hope that they would squeal were the drugs, peddled by them, were hidden, so they too could get a share of the booty);
- the Defense Minister took 5 days to reach the theater of operation after completing his birthday celebrations;
- we have a home minister, (HM) who splashes egg on his own face and that of the Nation, by tweeting, while the gunfights were still on, that the operation had ended, resulting in the death of two more bravehearts!
- we have a PM, HM, Party (BJP), and a Sangh, who assure the Country that the menace of terrorism could be solved by teaching Yoga to the terrorists!
- the PM of our Country was deep in meditation, doing Savasan, while 'shavs' of our brave hearts were falling to terrorist bullets at a strategic airbase at Pathankot;
- the rhetoric of giving Pakistan a fitting reply, (eent ka jawab patthar se denge), paying them back in their own coin, came back to haunt the Nation;
- a brilliant man, who seldom spoke and was, therefore, proclaimed by BJP to be a fool, was replaced by a man who is always impatient to climb a podium to display his oratory and prove himself to be a fraud!
- instead of returning home at the end of a state visit to Af', hops on a flight to Lahore for a 'Jadu ki Jhappi' with the enemy, in the hope of earning a Nobel Peace Prize;
- 'the jadu ki Jhappi' immediately recoiled on the Nation in the form of a terrorist commando fedaaeen raid on one of our invaluable assets, a huge airbase, resulting in the martyredom of seven bravehearts;
- the people who head our security
establishment do not know who is capable of doing what and in which situation; - we don't seem to have learnt anything from our previous debacles; and
- the media did not do enough to call a spade a spade.
